Chicken-Mince Tikka

Method

  1. Mix chicken mince with onion, gingergarlic paste, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper.
     
  2. Mix well and add an egg white to bind.
     
  3. Make into small balls and thread onto skewers along with wedges of pepper.
     
  4. Put on hot barbeque for 5 - 10 minutes turning frequently, till it becomes golden brown.
     
  5. Serve hot, with a squeeze of lemon
Serves 2

Ingredients:
  • 250g chicken, minced
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 30g onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 sprigs fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 green/red/yellow bell pepper
  • 1 lemon
