Spinach With Raisins
 

Method
  • Chop spinach finely, cut paneer into small cubes, chop onion roughly.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add onion, then garlic cloves and sauté till lightly coloured.
  • Add pine nuts and raisins.
  • Add spinach to the pan and mix well. Add salt and mix again.
  • Add paneer cubes, brown bread crumbs and mix.
  • If you want, you can add a little pepper powder too.
  • Transfer into a serving bowl and serve as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach, blanched, 2
    bunches
  • Raisins (kishmish) 2 tbsps
    Olive oil 2 tbsps
  • Onion1 medium
  • Garlic 15-20 small cloves
  • Pine nuts 2 tbsps
  • Cottage cheese (paneer)
    25 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Brown bread crumbs 2 tbsps
  • Black pepper powder to taste
