Egg, with its complete nutritional value, containing high protein, Vitamins A, D, E and B, fat, enzymes, and minerals like iodine, sulphur, zinc and iron, has several benefits.

Raw egg, high on its protein content, promotes hair growth, prevents hair fall and also adds shine and lustre to the hair. Egg can do wonders to the face; some people believe its effects are similar to a short-term face lift, as it’s a great remedy for skin tightening.   • Egg-Lemon Pack: Mix the juice of one lemon with an egg and apply it on your hair. Wait for half an hour and then shampoo. This pack adds sheen, volume and softness to your locks.
  • Egg White Pack: Whip an egg white and apply it through your hair strands. Leave it on for about 30 minutes and then shampoo. Use lemon for rinsing the hair. It’s ideal for limp, dull and oily hair.
  • Egg–Castor Oil: Mix an egg with some castor oil and apply it on your hair. This mixture is perfect to control hair loss.

  • Egg-Yoghurt Face Pack (for glow): Mix an egg yolk with yoghurt and a few drops of honey. Apply on your face and wait till the pack is dry. This pack is effective for delivering natural radiant skin.
  • Egg-Honey Face Pack (for removing tan and improving skin tone): Mix egg white and honey together and apply it on your face. Wait for 10 minutes and then rinse with water. The pack helps in improving complexion by doing away with the tan.
  • Egg Yolk-Olive Oil Face Pack (for dry skin): Combine an egg yolk with lemon juice and olive oil. The mixture should be applied to the face and neck for treating dry skin.
  • Egg-Honey-Rosewater Face Pack (for smooth skin and complexion): Mix an egg with a spoonful of honey and a few drops of olive oil and rosewater. Apply this mixture as a face mask for about 20 minutes to get smooth complexion and flawless skin, as it helps to do away with blemishes.
